Review the weather along your route with the following tools!

The timeline feature is located on the right hand side of the Wayfinder interface. Here you will see multiple plots simultaneously, highlighting both weather and engine variables. Scrolling along the timeline (either on the main timeline or individual plots) will show the weather along your vessel's predicted location and the map weather will advance in sync.
By clicking on Routes or Variables you will have the ability to customize the routes and plots of interest. Select as many as you would like and watch the right hand rail fill up! You can also adjust the width of the plot sidebar to what suits your needs.
Note: your variable preferences will persist across sessions.
The weather layers are located on the top right of the map. You can click here to look at a number of weather base layers such as waves, wind, currents precipitation, visibility, or sea surface temp.
Additional weather overlays (wind, waves, and currents) can also be added to the map at the same time for enhanced data visualization. Each user can customize their map layers configuration in a way that make the most send for them.

You can view ice accretion risk directly in Wayfinder. This information can be visualized both as a weather base layer and in the route timeline scrubber. The risk will be classified as Light (<0.7 cm/hr), Moderate (0.7-2.0 cm/hr), Heavy (2.0-4.0 cm/hr), or Extreme (>4.0 cm/hr). When viewing the base layer, we recommend also checking the Sea Ice Concentration overlay to confirm the concentration of sea ice in the area.

Shoreside users can also find ice accretion alerts in the weather alerting column of the Fleet Summary emails. This will give you a proactive notification of upcoming alerts for the next 10 days.
The Wayfinder app displays Tropical Storm information provided by the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC).
