Voyage creation is a joint process between the vessel and shoreside teams. After the vessel has imported their voyage information into Wayfinder, shoreside teams are encouraged to confirm the inputs and provide any additional constraints or context required for routing.

Follow the three steps below to ensure that your vessel is ready to set sail:

1. Confirm passage plan details

   After voyage creation and before departure, Wayfinder will show your voyage in the planning stage. While the voyage is still in planning, please review the following inputs to ensure that they are correct and up to date: port combination, route, ETD, etc.

   If you are aware that your vessel has an upcoming voyage and it has not been loaded into Wayfinder, please reach out to the captain and have them upload their route as soon as possible
